Emmaus Media and Design was founded upon the principle in Luke 24 of Jesus coming alongside of 2 of his followers from Emmaus and taking time to give explanation of all the scriptures that gave a clear explanation of Himself. Emmaus Media and Design has at the heart of its mission a vision and desire to help provide solutions for churches in the areas of audio and media by coming alongside pastors and helping them gain an understanding of their technological needs and challenges, then to help provide adequate evaluation, education and the most cost-effective options for improving their situation.
Emmaus Media and Design is committed to walking through the whole process with a pastor and ministry team, from the consultation stage all the way through the final installation. We are willing to be creative with your quote and to strategize in breaking down a comprehensive upgrade into phases, or bite-size chunks, that will fit within your church’s target budget.
“Media and Design” Defined
MEDIA in it’s broadest definition refers to “materials and techniques used by an artist to produce a work”. In the church this would include all audio and video systems.
In this most recent generation of church technology, “media” is an abbreviation of the term, “visual media”, referring to on-screen video & worship projection, and all equipment, hardware & software necessary to facilitate these functions. Throughout our website and communication with pastors and churches we will most often refer to “audio” and “visual media” as separate and unique functions.
DESIGN by definition is “planning or engineering that lays the basis for the making of a system.” Emmaus seeks to apply this principle to both technological and clerical systems in the church, which will include audio systems, visual media systems, lighting systems, worship technology and print media.
Our Mission
It’s our goal and commitment to work within your budget to find practical solutions to your audio challenges. We are happy to do anything from complete systems designed and installed, to troubleshooting problems with your existing system. At Emmaus, our goal is empowering the church for ministry. We will gladly reuse existing equipment, provided it is capable and adequate for the job. It’s not our goal to sell you lots of gear you don’t need. With over 30 years of combined church technology experience, we can offer you practical innovative options to deal with any difficulties you may be facing… with our goal always being to offer you the highest quality, most practical design that your budget will accommodate.
Audio system consultation, design, and installation is at the heart of what we do, but we have assembled an experienced and professional support team of specialists who are second to none in providing consultation, design and implementation in the areas of visual media, lighting, worship technology and print media.
